Mumbai, Sept. 14 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered an FIR on Monday in connection with the death of Disha Salian, the former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, according to an official statement.
Disha Salian died on June 8, 2020, after allegedly falling from a residential building in Mumbai's Malad area. The Mumbai Police has subsequently registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) and maintained that she had died by suicide.
Six days later, on June 14, Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence. The proximity of the two deaths triggered widespread speculation about a possible connection, although the cases were investigated separately.
