Kolhapur, June 19 -- Maharashtra and Sindhudurg district guardian minister Nitesh Rane today claimed that Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray was pushing UBT faction to merge with the Congress party, while reacting on a second split in the party with its six MPs creating a separate group and possibly joining the rival Shinde Sena.
Addressing a press conference at Kankavali in Sindhudurg district, he launched a sharp attack on Shiv Sena (UBT), saying that these rebel MPs have clearly stated that Aaditya Thackery wanted to merge the party with the Congress and was also scheduled to meet senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.
