Nashik, June 22 -- In preparation for the upcoming Kumbh Mela in Nashik, Additional Secretary of the Maharashtra government, D.V. Kharke, has issued transfer orders of eight officials of the Public Works Department (PWD) including that of Arundhati Mukesh Sharma as the Chief Engineer of the Nashik PWD Division.
The appointment of Arundhati Mukesh Sharma-who had been awaiting this posting for several months-as the Chief Engineer of the Nashik PWD is expected to fast-track Kumbh Mela-related projects.
Immediately following her appointment, she met with Ravindra Puri Maharaj (President) and Hari Giri Maharaj (General Secretary) of the All India Akhada Parishad to seek their blessings before commencing her duties.
