Mumbai, Aug. 28 -- The Congress is using tribal students as "pawns" to create a political event for Rahul Gandhi's proposed Maharashtra visit, despite the state government accepting their demands, BJP state chief spokesperson Navnath Ban alleged on Friday.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP state office, Ban said the government had accepted the initial demands raised by tribal students in Pune during three detailed rounds of discussions and had subsequently agreed to several additional demands, besides providing written assurances on them.
