Chennai, Sept. 15 -- The Madras High Court on Tuesday dismissed a poll plea filed against TVK leader and Tamil Nadu Minister K.A.Sengottaiyan from the Gobichettiplayam Assembly constituency, from where he won for a record ninth term, in the April 23 elections.
When the petition filed by losing AIADMK candidate V.B.Prabhu came up for hearing, Mr Justice GK Ilanthiraiyan dismissed it after allowing Revenue and Disaster Management Minister and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief coordinator Sengottaiyan's plea seeking dismissal of the petition challenging his poll win.
