Chennai, Sept. 3 -- The Madras High Court on Thursday dismissed as not maintainable, a petition filed by former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President MK Stalin seeking 100 per cent counting of VVPAT slips and verification of all EVMs and to declare the election of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) candidate VS Babu from the Kolathur Assembly constituency in Chennai city, as void.

The First Bench comprising Chief Justice SA Dharmadhikari and Justice G Arul Murugan after hearing both sides, dismissed the petition as not maintainable.
