Madhubani, June 3 -- : In a tragic incident, five children drowned in a water-filled pit in Kerwar village under the Bisfi police station area, Madhubani district today.
According to police, the children had gone to bathe in a water-filled pit to get relief from the intense heat. During the bath, one of the children slipped into deeper water and began drowning. In an attempt to save the child, the others also entered the deep section of the pit and drowned.
