Chennai, March 9 -- City-based M M Forgings Ltd plans a capital expenditure of about Rs160-200 crore next fiscal and also deploy about 100-150 robots at its factory to cut down on the costs, said a top company official.
Speaking to investors/analysts, Vidyashankar Krishnan, Chairman and Managing Director, said next fiscal, FY27, the company looks at a capex of about Rs160 crore towards completing the 16,500 ton press, the remaining work on the installation 4,000 ton press and a little bit on the machining side.
If there are new customer interests and cash availability, then the capex could be taken up to Rs.200 crore, Krishnan said.
