Lucknow, June 8 -- Set to emerge as a flagship destination on Uttar Pradesh's cultural and spiritual tourism circuit, complementing destinations such as Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura, Prayagraj, and Sarnath, Lucknow is poised to get one of India's most ambitious cultural projects with the development of the proposed 'Uttar Pradesh Sanskriti Sangrahalay - Museum and Ritual Centre'.

The Uttar Pradesh government has approved nearly Rs 23.42 crore for the development, design, and curation of the project, while Rs 8 crore has been released during the current financial year to initiate work.
