Jaipur, July 15 -- The Amrit Mahotsav, marking the year-long Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the Rajasthan Assembly, began here on Wednesday amid a call for striving towards glorious legislative procedures, conventions and strengthening democracy further in the country.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, inaugurated the opening ceremony of the celebrations of the day that was graced by the Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Leader of Opposition (LoP) Tika Ram Jully, the state Parliamentary Affairs Minister Joga Ram Patel, all the sitting members of the state legislature alongwith ex MLAs of the first assembly to the 16th assembly and many MPs from the state.
