Czechia, June 21 -- Indian boxers delivered a timely statement ahead of a packed international season, winning 12 medals, including eight gold, at the Usti nad Labem Grand Prix 2026 boxing tournament here on Sunday.

With the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow next month and the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya later this year, the tournament provided India's leading boxers with a valuable test against international opposition.

All 12 Indian medallists in Czechia are part of the Commonwealth Games boxing squad, while10 have also been selected for the Asian Games.
