Shimla, Aug. 12 -- Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur on Wednesday accused the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu government of burdening people with taxes and various charges, making basic facilities including education and healthcare increasingly expensive. In a statement issued here, Jai Ram Thakur said the Chief Minister was running a "fee government in the name of welfare" and alleged that the government was taking arbitrary decisions without considering their impact on the common people.
