Bengaluru, Aug. 4 -- Karnataka Leader of the Opposition R Ashoka on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the newly expanded state Cabinet, alleging that the Congress government had rewarded "corrupt people, scamsters, blackmailers and anti-women leaders" with ministerial berths.
Addressing a press conference at Vidhana Soudha, Ashoka described the Cabinet expansion as an unprecedented "drama" and alleged that individuals facing serious corruption allegations had been inducted into the ministry.
Referring to former minister B Nagendra, Ashoka questioned whether the government had effectively given him a "clean chit" by reinducting him despite allegations relating to the alleged ST Corporation fund scam.
