Shimla, July 30 -- Leader of Opposition and former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Thursday accused the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led Congress government of pursuing "politics of vendetta" by allegedly using the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau to target BJP leaders and political opponents.
Talking to mediapersons here, Thakur alleged that the state government was misusing investigative agencies to suppress dissent and settle political scores. He claimed that after the Rajya Sabha election setback, despite having a numerical majority, the Chief Minister had intensified efforts to target BJP leaders through vigilance inquiries.
