Shimla, July 14 -- Leader of Opposition and former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Tuesday accused Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu of misleading the public over the Himcare health insurance scheme, claiming that an RTI response had contradicted the Chief Minister's allegations regarding alleged irregularities in the programme.
Thakur alleged that the Chief Minister had been making "false and misleading" statements about the BJP government's flagship Himcare scheme in an attempt to tarnish its image.
