Bengaluru, July 8 -- Escalating its anti-corruption offensive, the Karnataka Lokayukta on Wednesday launched coordinated raids across Bengaluru, Shivamogga, Dharwad and Raichur, targeting three government officials in disproportionate assets (DA) cases, barely 24 hours after conducting searches against senior revenue officials in an alleged government land allotment scam.
The simultaneous operations, carried out in the early hours, covered residences, government offices, farmhouses, a factory and other properties linked to a Panchayat Development Officer (PDO), an Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) and a Karnataka Bhagiratha Jal Nigam Limited (KBJNL) Executive Engineer.
