Marking World Liver Day, observed annually on April 19, specialists at Kamineni Hospitals highlighted the theme "Solid Habits - Safe Liver" for 2026, stressing the need for healthier lifestyle choices.
Doctors noted that the liver, one of the most vital organs in the human body, performs over 500 essential functions and has the unique ability to regenerate. However, neglect and delayed diagnosis often lead to severe complications such as cirrhosis, liver failure, and liver cancer.
