Thiruvananthapuram, April 29 -- In a major boost to school-level technology education, Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE), the technology arm of the General Education Department, has announced the expansion of its flagship Little KITES programme to include students from Class 5 to Class 12.
Previously limited to high school students (Classes 8-10), the initiative will now extend to Upper Primary and Higher Secondary levels, significantly widening its reach. The move is expected to strengthen what is already considered the country's largest student-led ICT network.
The announcement was made by KITE CEO K Anvar Sadath during the inauguration of a two-day state-level camp held at Startup Village Kalamassery in Kochi.
