New Delhi, Oct. 1 -- In a major boost to modern sports infrastructure in North-West Delhi, Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Sandhu on Thursday inaugurated the Delhi Development Authority's sports complex at Sector-33, Rohini.
Spread over approximately 8.11 hectares, with a built-up area of approximately 10,974 square meters, the sports complex has been developed to bring quality sporting infrastructure closer to the residents of Rohini, Outer Delhi and adjoining areas of North-West Delhi.
Sandhu also laid the foundation stone for an Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station in the vicinity of the sports complex.
