Lakhimapur Kheri, April 20 -- A tragic incident has been reported from Nayapurwa village under Umar Gram Panchayat in Lakhimpur Kheri district, where a leopard killed a four-year-old boy.
The partially eaten body of the child was recovered near a railway track after he went missing from a field, police informed on Monday.
According to information, Dilshad, the son of Umeed Ali, had gone to the fields with his parents and two sisters on Saturday evening. While the parents were harvesting wheat, the child disappeared around 6 PM. When the family prepared to return home, they found him missing. His sisters were sitting frightened under a tree nearby but could not explain what had happened.
