Bijnore, March 2 -- A 50-year-old woman from Hidayatpur village in the Kadarabad area was seriously injured after being attacked by a leopard at Murliwala Farm on Monday morning.
According to reports, the incident occurred when Momina Khatoon was working with other female labourers in a sugarcane field owned by Jeevan Singh, located about three kms from her village. The women were peeling sugarcanes when a leopard suddenly emerged from nearby bushes and pounced on her, attacking on her neck.
The sudden assault left Momina Khatoon severely injured. Her co-workers, Mindro Bai, Sharan Jeet, and Manjeet Kaur, quickly responded by shouting and hitting the leopard with sugarcane sticks, managing to drive away the animal and rescue her.
