Legislature minority, SC welfare committees hold inaugural meeting

Hyderabad, Aug. 24 -- The inaugural meeting of the Legislature's Minority Welfare Committee and Scheduled Castes (SC) Welfare Committee was held at the Speaker's Chamber in the Legislative Assembly building on Monday.

Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy, Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar and Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash attended the meeting and congratulated the newly appointed chairpersons and members.

Minority Welfare Committee Chairman Thota Laxmikantha Rao and members Bathula Laxma Reddy, Kaleru Venkatesh and Payal Shankar, along with SC Welfare Committee Chairman Medipally Satyam and other members, participated in the meeting.
