Hyderabad, March 26 -- In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the Telangana government will organise the inaugural edition of the Legislator Sports Meet 2026 to promote sportsmanship and encourage physical activity among people across the state.
State Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao and Vakiti Srihari said the event aims to foster a spirit of sports among students, youth, and all sections of society, while also providing recreation for legislators who are otherwise engaged in demanding political responsibilities.
