New Delhi, July 29 -- India's major Left parties have resolved to intensify coordinated political and democratic movements across the country, focusing on issues ranging from the distress faced by farmers and workers to alleged attacks on democratic rights, eviction ofhawkers, and cases filed against students and youth.
The decision emerged from a meeting of senior leaders of various Left parties held at Charu Bhavan, the headquarters of the CPI(ML) Liberation, here.
The meeting was attended by CPI(M) general secretary M.A. Baby, his CPI and CPI(ML) Liberation counterparts D. Raja and Dipankar Bhattacharya respectively.
