Puducherry, April 16 -- Terming the proposed delimitation exercise by the BJP government at the Centre as politically motivated, both the Communist parties, the CPI and the CPI(M), on Thursday condemned it.

CPI State Committee member and former legislator Na Ra Kalainathan in a statement here said the central government was acting in haste in this regard which was aimed at reducing the parliamentary representation of Southern states and reducing their voice in Parliamentary.
