Kolkata, Aug. 5 -- The Left is preparing to sharpen its campaign on education and youth issues in West Bengal through two major programmes scheduled for next week, as the CPI(M) and the All India Students' Association (AISA) seek to energise cadres and build momentum around issues ranging from the National Education Policy (NEP) to alleged irregularities in entrance examinations and the growing privatisation of education.
The first initiative will be the CPI(M)'s state-level convention at Kalyani in Nadia, expected to be held during the second week of August.
