Beirut, June 4 -- Lebanese President Joseph Aoun said that he is awaiting Hezbollah's response to Beirut's newly-reached ceasefire framework with Israel, which could begin within 24 hours if the militant group agrees to the terms, according to Al Jazeera.

Speaking to a small number of reporters at the Baabe Palace Thursday morning, Aoun said that the presidency is awaiting responses from all concerned parties before making any final announcement on the US-brokered agreement.
