Farrukhabad, April 23 -- A 25-acre land parcel leased to the Dr Zakir Hussain Trust for establishing a charitable hospital in Farrukhabad has been recommended for cancellation after authorities found violations of lease conditions and the expiry of the 30-year term.
According to BJP MLA Sushil Shakya, the land-located on the Nawabganj-Mohammadabad road in Kayamganj tehsil-was allotted on April 1, 1995, for a period of 30 years. The lease was granted for the purpose of building and operating a charitable medical facility.
Shakya stated that Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak informed him through an official communication that the trust failed to comply with the terms of the lease. The construction of the charitable hospital...
