Lucknow, July 28 -- The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday transferred 15 senior IPS officers, including new appointments to several key positions, including the Lucknow and Prayagraj police commissioners.
According to the order issued, ADG Gorakhpur Zone Ashok Jain has been appointed ADG, Fire and Emergency Services, Headquarters, Lucknow. Lucknow Police Commissioner Amarendra K. Sengar has been appointed ADG Intelligence.
He has also been given the additional charge of ADG Security. ADG Logistics Ram Kumar has been appointed the new ADG of the Gorakhpur Zone.
