Mumbai, July 20 -- Larsen & Toubro's (L&T) officially informed the stock exchanges here through a regulatory filing on Monday that the metals and minerals vertical of the company has bagged multiple orders from government-owned public sector companies.
The company has classified this order in "mega" category, which is used to describe orders in the range between Rs 10,000-15,000 crore.
According to the company statement, these orders include a contract from the public sector company NMDC Limited, which is India's largest iron ore producer.
As part of its expansion programme to achieve 100 MTPA of iron ore production capacity by 2030, the NMDC Limited, has awarded 'Package #BE-01C' of its 18 MTPA iron ore handling plant in Chhattisgarh.
