Lucknow, Aug. 9 -- A moment of immense pride and glory for Uttar Pradesh Table Tennis as young Lakshya Kumar, a promising trainee of renowned coach Parag Agarwal, has achieved a remarkable international milestone by earning a place in the Asian Team for the ITTF World Hopes Week & Challenge 2026.
Lakshya has been selected to represent Asia at the prestigious World Hopes event, which will be held at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield, England, in October 12 - 18, 2026. The ITTF has confirmed that India's Lakshay Kumar has secured his place in the boys' Sheffield contingent following the completion of the Asian Hopes programme.
