Patna, Sept. 25 -- Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) president and Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha today urged the Election Commission to immediately clarify the status of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, saying recent media reports have created confusion among the public.
In a statement to the media, he said the Election Commission was the appropriate authority to address the uncertainty surrounding SIR and make the actual position clear to the people. "There is considerable confusion among the public regarding SIR following recent reports in the media. The Election Commission should immediately clarify the position and apprise people of the actual situation," he said.
