Kurukshetra, Oct. 21 -- The Kurukshetra district administration has directed hotels, restaurants, cafes and other commercial venues to obtain written approval from the concerned college or university before hosting student parties, including freshers', welcome and farewell events.
Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena said on Wednesday that venue operators had been instructed not to accept bookings or provide space for unauthorised student gatherings.
He said operators must verify written permission issued by the competent authority of the concerned educational institution before allowing such events.
