Bengaluru, Aug. 30 -- union Minister HD Kumaraswamy's question over the need for the BJP's proposed Ballari padayatra following B Nagendra's resignation has exposed a shift in the political pitch surrounding the march, with State BJP president BY Vijayendra now stressing that the agitation is about 10 issues and not just the former Minister.
Kumaraswamy questioned the rationale for continuing the padayatra after Nagendra had resigned and his resignation had been accepted, saying the issue had not been discussed with him.
"I don't know what subject they have taken up. It has not been discussed with me. Nagendra has resigned. What is the next step? Why are they undertaking the padayatra?" he said.
