Bengaluru, Oct. 13 -- union Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Tuesday took a swipe at Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar over the latter's alleged pulling back by security personnel during the INDIA bloc's protest march in New Delhi, predicting that the Congress would eventually remove him from the Chief Minister's post.

"It is just the beginning; Congress will eventually push him out from the CM post," Kumaraswamy said while addressing the media.

He further remarked that the day was not far when even Shivakumar's chair would be pulled away, suggesting that the incident during Monday's protest was indicative of the political challenges facing the Karnataka Chief Minister.
