Hyderabad, Sept. 9 -- BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) strongly condemned the suspension of BRS MLAs from the Telangana Assembly and alleged that the Congress government was suppressing the Opposition for raising public issues and seeking justice.
Following the suspension, BRS MLAs staged a protest on the Assembly premises, raising slogans questioning whether they were being suspended for demanding justice for women, questioning alleged attacks on women public representatives, raising public issues and seeking a discussion on the Congress government's "1,000 days of failed governance" and the 22A issue.
KTR, along with former minister T Harish Rao and other BRS MLAs, later met Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Lok Bhavan.
