Hyderabad, July 22 -- BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) has written an open letter to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy seeking an immediate clarification on the Telangana government's stand regarding the revival of the Cement Corporation of India (CCI) plant at Adilabad.
KTR said the revival of the plant was crucial for the livelihoods of thousands of families and the industrial development of the region.
Referring to a recent meeting with union Heavy Industries Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, he claimed the Centre had indicated that the project could move forward if the Telangana government contributed Rs 250 crore and submitted the required proposal.
