Hyderabad, July 8 -- Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao on Wednesday said a reported assessment by the World Bank placing Telangana above the upper-middle-income benchmark was a matter of immense pride for the state's people.

In a post on social media platform X, the BRS leader said Telangana had emerged as one of the country's top five states to achieve the milestone, describing it as a testament to the state's economic transformation since its formation.
