Hyderabad, July 11 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) on Saturday challenged Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to face local body elections, by-elections to the Assembly seats vacated by defecting MLAs or even dissolve the Assembly if he was confident of returning to power.
Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, KTR claimed that even an internal survey commissioned by the Chief Minister had projected the BRS to win 78 Assembly seats.
He alleged that Revanth Reddy's return to power was "nothing more than a pipe dream" and challenged him to deny the existence of such a survey by swearing before Lord Rama.
