Chennai, Sept. 10 -- Hours ahead of Chief Minister VIjay's UK tour to scout for investments to attain the goal of transforming Tamil Nadu into an USD 1.5 trillion economy by 2036, the State government on Thursday announced that the proposed HD KSOE/HD Hyundai shipyard in the southern coastal Thoothukudi district has entered the Detailed Project Report (DPR) preparing phase.
The announcement of the project entering the DPR phase was made a day after Industries Minister Ms.S.Keerthana held discussions with top officials of HD Hyundai, along with the Guidance Tamil Nadu team in Chennai on Wednesday.
