Bengaluru, May 6 -- Under mounting scrutiny over the alleged IPL 2026 ticket black-marketing racket, the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) on Wednesday issued a strong clarification distancing itself from the ongoing probe, even as Bengaluru police investigations reportedly pointed to a wider network involving insiders, corporate allocations, and suspected links to individuals connected with the cricket establishment.
In a statement issued here, KSCA spokesperson Vinay Mruthyunjaya asserted that the association had "no role whatsoever" in the sale of tickets to the general public for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) matches at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
