Hyderabad, May 15 -- Rajya Sabha member and National BC Welfare Association president R Krishnaiah has urged Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to fulfil the Congress party's election promise of filling two lakh government jobs in Telangana.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Minister, Krishnaiah said unemployment was one of the key reasons behind the Congress party's victory in the state and alleged that the previous BRS government lost power due to neglect of unemployed youth.
He said the Congress leadership, including Revanth Reddy and Rahul Gandhi, had extensively campaigned on promises of filling vacant posts.
