Bengaluru, July 26 -- Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) has kept in abeyance the final selection list for the recruitment of Veterinary Officers following allegations of largescale irregularities in the selection process and has ordered an internal inquiry into the matter.

The decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the Commission after a complaint was lodged at the Vidhana Soudha Police Station by social activist Kantha Kumar, alleging irregularities and illegal dealings in the recruitment process.

According to the Commission, the final selection list issued on July 17 will remain suspended until the inquiry is completed.
