Bengaluru, July 28 -- The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), already under intense scrutiny over alleged irregularities in the recruitment of veterinary officers, is facing fresh allegations that it failed to act on an internal inquiry recommending a CID probe into serious irregularities in the recruitment of Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs), allowing the appointments to proceed despite purported evidence of malpractice.
A five-member inquiry committee headed by Vijayakumar Kuchanure is said to have investigated complaints relating to the recruitment of 244 Assistant Executive Engineers in the Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Department.
