Bengaluru, Sept. 1 -- Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President BK Hariprasad on Tuesday said the party would closely monitor the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls across the State to ensure that no eligible voter, particularly from weaker sections, is 'excluded.'Addressing a press conference at the KPCC office here, Hariprasad said the Congress had begun gathering constituency-level information on the SIR process by consulting candidates who contested and lost the 2023 Assembly elections.

He said the exercise had brought to light concerns over the 'deletion' of voters' names and alleged that a significant number of those affected belonged to weaker sections.
