Mangaluru, June 23 -- Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Working President B.K. Hariprasad on Tuesday alleged that the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls was aimed at depriving citizens of their constitutional right to vote and called upon Congress workers to launch a mass awareness campaign across the state.
Addressing a voter-list awareness convention in Mangaluru, Hariprasad said the Congress would fight any attempt to remove genuine voters from the electoral rolls and ensure that every eligible citizen's name remained on the voter list.
