Mumbai, July 13 -- Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company Ltd. (KMAMC) has entered the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records for collecting the highest number of blood units by an organisation in a single day, an official said here on Monday.
The company's nationwide campaign, "Let's Save Lives Mutually," was held at 114 centres across India. On a single day, the drive collected 3,471 units of blood, making it one of the biggest blood donation campaigns organised by a corporate company in the country.
The blood donation drive saw participation from mutual fund distributors and KMAMC employees. The company said the campaign was organised to help society and encourage people to work together for a good cause.
