New Delhi/Hyderabad, Sept. 4 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud on Friday described the dismissal of Minister Konda Surekha as unfortunate and clarified that there was currently no proposal for a Cabinet expansion.
Speaking to the media on the Konda Surekha episode, Mahesh Goud said the Congress had several internal platforms for discussing party-related issues and warned that strict action would be taken whenever party discipline was violated.
He said Konda Surekha should have condemned her daughter's remarks much earlier and that her failure to do so led the AICC to take the matter seriously.
