Kolkata, Sept. 15 -- Kolkata Police have summoned an employee responsible for distributing mail in connection with alleged irregularities in the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) election process.

The employee has been asked to appear at Maidan Police Station at 11 am on Wednesday.

Police sources said representatives of several affiliated clubs have already been questioned in connection with the alleged ticket fraud, while officials of a courier agency have also undergone preliminary questioning.

A police team led by the Officer-in-Charge and Additional Officer-in-Charge of Maidan Police Station visited the CAB headquarters during the day and questioned officials of some affiliated clubs.
