Kolkata, Oct. 16 -- Kolkata Police arrested 28 people and seized 3.6 litres of illicit liquor during raids against traffic violations and bootlegging on Panchami, an officer said on Friday.
The raids continued until late on Thursday night, the officer said.
"28 individuals were arrested. Additionally, 3.6 litres of illicit liquor were seized," the officer said.
The traffic department registered 334 cases for various violations. These included 35 cases of triple riding and 92 cases of two-wheeler riders travelling without helmets.
